Momo stepped out onto the street, her face blank, her eyes dark and deep.
Things were changing, old truths were no longer true; she looked on the bustling street, and couldn’t understand what she saw.
She turned and began to walk slowly, errant details going into focus.
Two pretty young women walking hand-in-hand, smiling lovingly, chatting happily with each other.
